John has been in the building industry for 40 years, it is the first project we have done for him and I hope there are many more to come.
I have been in the fencing and balustrade business for 26 years but seldom have I seen a quality project like this one come out of the ground so fast and efficiently. Three months ago there was a frame on a slab, now this beautiful waterfront mansion is almost complete. All our staff have found John very easy to work with, he made decisions as required and allowed us to get on with the job he contracted us to do.
I understand that John will live there himself but he may be persuaded to part with the property if the right offer was made, he can always build himself another one.
So far we have installed frameless glass balustrade on the external balconies using 316 marine grade polished spigots with a polished 50.8mm round stainless handrail on top.
For the internal staircase balustrade and void area, John selected polished stainless steel stand offs with 12mm clear toughened glass and a side mounted 50.8mm round polished stainless handrail. Internal staircases are not easy, first we fit the stand off’s, then make templates to ensure that when the glass arrives, it fits without a hitch, the stainless steel handrail is quite often manufactured on site.
To complete the project we have only to install the frameless glass pool and canal fencing and side gates, we expect this will be done in the next couple of weeks.
